BACK TO GATLINBURG

BACK TO GATLINBURG
One of my favorite destinations and one that I will not stop going to is Gatlinburg, it is full of magic and charm everywhere.

This past Christmas, I had the opportunity to return to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This lovely city is located in the Great Smoky Mountains and has a lot to offer.

I went to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to experience nature. Walking the trails past mountains, rivers, and waterfalls felt like I was in paradise. The region's colorful landscapes, with their trees, flowers, and birds, wowed me.

You must visit this river and at the very least get your feet wet; how nice it is to be surrounded by nature and fresh water; don't forget to do so.

On my tour, I came across another incredible location: SkyLift Park, a theme park in the Great Smoky Mountains. This area has a wide range of activities to enjoy. I rode up this mountain in a small cable car, which took me on an exciting and fun ride. I was impressed to see the incredible landscapes of the region from the heights; when you go up, you will find SkyBridge, North America's longest pedestrian cable bridge with impressive views and a spectacular route; you must come to walk here.

In the afternoon, I went exploring the city to enjoy Gatlinburg's incredible restaurants and shops. I went to try the authentic typical food of the area, such as the famous Gatlinburg roast meat dishes in Bennett's Pit Bar-B-Que, which cooks well here. I also visited the small shops in town, where I purchased souvenirs to take home.

The next day, I walked to Ober Mountain Tramway Mall so I could ride a big cable car, which was a lot of fun for me, and see the mountains and houses around while I went to Ober Gatlinburg to enjoy ice skating and try snowboarding that same day, but first I had to taste a cup of hot chocolate, there are many activities here, it was more than enough, dare to do one of these activities

I went to Ole Smoky Moonshine, the largest craft beer distillery in the United States, late in the afternoon. This distillery produces herbal beers, fruit spirits, and single malts. There are also liqueurs, brandies, and spirits to select from.

I sampled a variety of jams, sauces, syrups, and other products made from their distillates. In addition, the distillery's restaurant serves a variety of food and drinks. The food was delicious, and I enjoyed the warm and lively atmosphere.

Finally, I was able to sample the distillery's spirits. My favorite was the peach schnapps, but I also liked the apple, cranberry, and strawberry distillates. I was also able to buy a variety of souvenirs to take home with me.

The next day, to round out my tour of Gatlinburg, I went up to Anakeesta, a Tennessee mountain adventure park. This amazing area has a wide range of activities and attractions to enjoy. I made my way to the Treetop Skywalk, a 16-meter-high observation platform suspended between the trees. The wooden walkway provided a breathtaking view of the Smoky Mountains National Park as well as a unique opportunity to observe local wildlife. The walkway also included several gazebos and a seating area with outdoor furniture. Then I went up to the AnaVista Tower, the highest point in the center with panoramic view; at night, there is a light show.

Do not forget to enjoy these places and you will surely be able to find others. What you must remember is that you must make hotel reservations with enough time in advance to find one that is close to where you want to go. Because this is a highly touristic site, I recommend that you make your reservation at least 4 months in advance.

Remember that in order to have a pleasant vacation, you must plan ahead and not forget the details; research all of the places in the area where you are going and include them in your itinerary.

Have a wonderful journey!
